I study art piece to be used in everyday life with its sculptural artistic touch as well as practicality .
I design my work based on the inspiration I got from Korean traditional art.
The main muse object is Korean architecture 'Hanok'.

GAYA WIE THEATRE
Just like musical orchestra plays in the theatre, all different visual design factors of GAYA WIE bag plays its own music,
and the visual orchestra completes the play as the user wears the bag.
Everywhere the bag is worn by the user, the surrounding place forms visual theatre itself.

I got inspiration from the form of Korean traditional architecture 'Hanok' and wooden furniture to design this bag.
Frontal pattern design was created with the inspiration I got from iron hinge on the door of hanok, Joodu from hanok
and hinge from the Royal seal box.
MATERIAL
The main material is hanji leather.
Hanji leather is environmental friendly material that is about 99% antibacterial (KS K 0693), and over 90% biodegradable.
Hanji is the Korean traditional paper. The hanji leather is made with hanji paper as durable fabric.
It is also light and breathable.
LINING MATERIAL
It opens with zipper, and has two open pocket and one zipper pocket inside of the bag.

The strap is included.

The surface of genuine cowhide is tend to be irregular and it is very natural character of genuine cowhide. Therefore, small winkle and scratch is not the case of faulty product.
Please understand natural cowhide is very different in texture and quality depending on the each part of the leather. The bag is made using the most even parts, but due to the nature of natural cowhide (especially the plain leather used in this product), not all surfaces of the leather are 100% the same as synthetic leather.

There could be light cowhide scent right after the purchase, but it will disappear as it is used.
If you received faulty products or products that are recognised as defective can ask for exchange with a new product within 7 days of receiving the product. In the above case, GAYA WIE is responsible for all shipping charges. (The bag should not be used at all to be exchanged with the new one even if it was faulty.) This is not the case of simple change of mind after receiving the bag.
If it is recognised as a product defect, free AS will be provided for 5 months after the purchase. Paid AS is available for non-product defects (customer carelessness or material damage).
